A new set of stairs is what the client originally needed. But as is often the case with rehabs the need to fix and update the surrounding structure soon turned this job into an almost fully new deck. The majority of the substructure was still in good shape so a completely new deck wasn’t required but by expanding the concrete pad below and pouring all new footings the client can rest assured that this deck will last for many years to come. The choice of the black metal railings will give the deck an aesthetic that will look good long into the future.
